Black August: Freedom Dreaming

Each Black August, we focus on a form of black expression. Last year, it was through the oral tradition of storytelling. This year, we will dream of freedom through visual art.

LANTERN WaLK

December 2024

The Lantern Walk is a magical experience in which each child carries a unique lantern that illuminates the path ahead. Children proudly display their handcrafted lanterns, each one a reflection of their creativity and imagination. Look froward to the community sharing stories, songs, and perhaps even a cup of warm cocoa, making it an enchanting time for all.
